For best results, pull your hair back so ensure a clean outline of your face. Also do not wear eyeglasses for this photo.   For men a clean shave works best.   The finished profile will not clearly outline mustaches or beards.

Stand your subject 2 to 3 feet from the wall.   Keep your face straight forward and hold the folded piece of paper about an inch from your nose.   Ensure the paper is held as straight as possible, centred on your nose and on a straight line directly in front of your face.
